For once Sonic and I left Highland Castle unscathed and without anybody chasing us. Except Sonic still had a wounded leg and I had a wounded back. "Where to next?" I asked curiously.

"We're going back to my dimension," Sonic replied, a huge loving smile still plastered on his face.

"NO! I can't!" my smile faded as I flung away from him and backed away. We were in the forest now, and the full moon blanketed the forest in a dim light.

"Why not Blaze?" Sonic asked me, his big smile faltering a bit.

"My Sol Emeralds....I can't...they can't leave this dimension," I responded.

"Can YOU?"

"Not without my Sol Emeralds."

"Why not? Can't you leave them with your father?"

"I could, but guarding the Sol Emeralds is MY responsibility. My father wouldn't..."

"Blaze, where will we go? Huh? You can't go back home, your father is sided with Losercrum. You can't go stay with Marine forever, I don't think she'd like that...if you stay here, they will come find you. And you will be forced to marry Losercrum."

"I can go in hiding..."

"Do you want to live that kind of life Blaze!?"

Sonic was looking at me with such a sincerity that I almost felt like I was being interrogated and scolded at the same time. "What can I do? I can't take the Sol Emeralds with me. This dimension will collapse!" I cried.

"So? From what I've seen, everybody in this dimension except you and Marine are selfish jerks," Sonic remarked.

"Marine! What will she do if this dimension collapses?" I asked.

"She'll come with us!" Sonic insisted.

He was growing persistent and stubborn, but I kept my calm. "Sonic...." I began, sighing calmly. "I can't go with you back to your dimension. I don't belong there."

"You don't belong here either!" Sonic wept, and I suddenly realized why Sonic was saying all this. He didn't want to leave this dimension without me. I could see the worry, fear, and sadness in his eyes, and I knew right then and there that he loved me. But why? As for me...I felt comfortable with Sonic, more than anybody else in this dimension...even my father. Even Marine.

"Sonic..." I began with concern.

"Blaze...please don't make me leave here without you. You DON'T belong here...you're treated like crap. Please, come home with me....I....I love you," Sonic gulped. Hearing those last three words made my heart flutter but I looked away.

"I can't, Sonic..." I began with a heavy sigh. But I wanted to. I couldn't...but I wanted to. I would've been glad to ditch these Sol Emeralds. Leave this dimension to go to Sonic's...I would've loved that.

"Let's go to Marine's. We'll sleep on it," Sonic mumbled.

And we did just that; we walked to Marine's hut without saying a word. I grabbed at his hand, hoping to offer comfort, but he pulled it away. I feared that he thought I wanted to stay here because I didn't like him; that I wanted him to go away forever. "Sonic...I love you too..."
He didn't respond.

"BLOO'Y HELL! IT'S YOU AGAIN!" Marine's anger filled the air the second she opened the door and saw Sonic and I.

"Marine, I want to sincerely apologize for what I said earlier. It was wrong of me, and you honestly don't deserve it," Sonic said nonchalantly yet sternly. I knew he was hurting inside, and I felt bad for it. But what could I do? Marine folded her arms and looked at Sonic crossly.

"Ye have a lotta nerve comin' here 'gain. But 'cause ah be a nice sailor, I let ye in. But ye sleepin' on da floor," Marine grumbled. I never really could understand her heavy accent, which was a mixture of Australian and Scottish, not to mention she talked like a real pirate.

"Fine with me. I deserve that," Sonic sighed. Marine let us in, scowling at Sonic, and shut and locked the door behind us.

"Glad yer safe, mate. Dat Lucrum git ain't any good, I hope he walks da plank, dat filthy barnacle," Marine grumbled. Sonic was looking outside a nearby window at the ocean.

"I didn't notice the boat Marine, is that yours?" Sonic asked curiously. I didn't really like how he was pretending I wasn't there.

"Yes, it be the S.S Marine, da greatest sailboat in all of Davy Jones' Locker," Marine responded proudly.

"So, wait...you built it yourself?" Sonic asked.

"Yep!" Marine replied with a grin, and it looked like she was starting to soften up to him.

"Sweet! You'd be a perfect match for my pal Tails, he specializes in aeromechanics," Sonic remarked with a grin, flipping the thumbs up.

"What be that, mate?" Marine asked, pointing at Sonic's gesture.

"Oh...nothing..." Sonic sighed, putting his hand down.

"Best ye all get some rest, ye had a long day," Marine told us.

"What can we do, Marine? Blaze...she can't stay here," Sonic began.

"Why the bloo'y not?"

"She...doesn't belong here...she'll be forced into marriage if she stays here."

"Mate, ye don't understand why she can't leave."

"Yes, yes I do. I want Blaze to be happy. And she's not happy here!"

"Dis dimension will collapse! MATE! SELFISH GIT!"

"SHE CAN'T STAY HERE!"

"DOES SHE WANT TO GO!?"

"STOP!" I bawled, and the two of them looked at me. "I need to get my head around this," I sighed, going into a bedroom and collapsing on the cot. I laid there, thinking about what to do. I wanted to go to Sonic's dimension...but my Sol Emeralds....I couldn't take them with me...but I couldn't leave them here, could I? I fell asleep thinking about all of it.

A sudden blast awoke me from a troubled sleep, and Marine flung open the door. "GIT UP MATE! NEGA IS HERE!" Marine wept.

"Nega? Nega who?" Sonic asked sleepily.

"EGGMAN NEGA!" Marine shrieked. This woke Sonic up instantly.

"Did you say...EGGMAN Nega!?" he gasped.

"Yeah. Why? What of it?" Marine asked.

"I have an Eggman in my dimension who-!" Sonic began, but Eggman Nega's laugh filled the air.

"PRINCESS! I know you're in that little hut!" he called from outside Marine's hut. "After studying the Sol Emeralds, I was able to construct a tracking device! You're in there with the Sol Emeralds! Come out and give them to me, and I will not harm anything!" Nega called. I started headed to the front door.

"BLAZE! Wait! Are you insane!? You can't do pyrokinesis!" Sonic called after me but I ignored him as I angrily stormed out and confronted Nega, who was in one of his hovering futuristic machines, this one armed with a cannon and missiles.

"Oh, good morning, princess. Can I see the Sol Emeralds? I have a plan for them!" Nega leered, just as Sonic and Marine ran out.

"Bloo'y Hell...it's Eggman Nega!" Marine gasped.

"OH! It's the little pirate raccoon! And...some blue rat thing! I need to see the Sol Emeralds!" Nega called.

"Why!?" I demanded.

"To control this dimension, of course. I can become the lord of all lords!" Nega responded excitedly.

"Sheesh...you even SOUND like my Eggman!" Sonic grumbled.

"What!? What are you talking about!?" Nega asked, looking with confusion at Sonic, when suddenly a bright light filled the air next to Nega, and Nega panicked and flew a few paces back. The light shrunk to reveal a silhouette.

"YES! IT WORKED!" screamed a new voice that sounded almost like Eggman Nega.

"What!?" Nega asked, and out of the silhouette flew an egg-shaped beefy man wearing a red suit. He resembled Nega in almost every aspect, except his mustache was brown.

"I finally made it to this dimension! With a little force, of course...that stupid yellow fox was being stubborn...but Sonic's in this dimension, is he not?" asked the beefy man.

"EGGMAN! WHAT DID YOU DO TO TAILS!" Sonic yelled at the man.

"SONIC! You're right in front of me!" the man giggled. The man looked at Nega and for the first time the two Eggmen laid eyes on each other.

"WHO ARE YOU!?" the Eggmen screamed at each other.

"EGGMAN! WHAT DID YOU DO TO TAILS!?" Sonic screamed.

"I didn't do anything you blue pest! I just ordered him to tell me where you are and send me here!" Eggman roared.

"WHY!?" Sonic demanded.

"So I can seal off the rift separating our dimension from this one...trapping you here!" Eggman giggled.

"WHAT!?" Sonic cried.

"Excuse me! I'm trying to take OVER this dimension!" Nega barked at Eggman.

"What!? You have an evil plan too!?" Eggman cried.

"'TOO'?" Nega asked.

"I'm sorry, but I be confused. What's going on!?" Marine asked.

"I'm trying to take over this dimension!" Nega hissed.

"I'm trying to deal OFF this dimension!" Eggman cried.

"Who be ye?" Marine asked.

"I'm Dr Robotnik! The most cunning scientific genius in the world!" Eggman chuckled.

"But...that blue pest was calling you Eggman!" Nega roared.

"I'm Sonic!" Sonic hissed.

"I'm Eggman Nega!" Nega roared.

"I'm also Dr Eggman!" Eggman said.

"And I'm Dr Confused!" Marine moaned.

"I don't have time for silly little games! Goodbye!" Eggman cried, and he flew towards the sky.

"Eggman!!! Stop!!!" Sonic roared, running after him. I noticed his limo seemed to have ceased a bit.

"Glad they're gone. Anyway back to business! Give me the Sol Emeralds!" Nega cried at me. But I took off running then. "NO! NO! NO! NOT AGAIN!" Nega bawled, and he flew after me. I didn't care. All I cared about was getting this ring off of me. Somehow, someway. Nega started shooting missiles and cannons at me but when I reached the forest he couldn't find me so he started to randomly shoot down trees, hoping I was underneath them. I ran and ran and ran and ran. Suddenly something grabbed me and pulled me into a hole.
"AH! LET ME GO!" I bawled.

"Princess...princess...I'm sooo glad you're alive!" wept a voice. It was my father. He was holding me tightly against his chest and weeping like a lost child. "PRINCESS! I have been looking all day and all night for you! I thought I lost you! I can't afford to lose another favorite girl! First your mother...now you! I can't...I can't..." my father blubbered, but he choked up into tears.

"GET AHOLD OF YOURSELF! The reason I ran away is because I don't want to marry Lucrum! See this! THIS! THIS IS WHAT HIS KNIGHT DID TO ME!" I showed my father the hole in my back where Lucrum's knight shot me.

"Princess...Lucrum...he is ill-tempered. That's a flaw. He is otherwise a very nurturing guy. He can take care of you..." my father began.

"I don't want to be taken care of! I just want to be loved, and I want to be an equal. Lucrum wants to control me! CONTROL ME! HE WANTS TO POSSESS ME NOT LOVE ME!" I bawled. "I KNOW WHAT THIS IS! You set me up with Lucrum because you're an overprotective failure of a father! You set me up with Lucrum because you felt like he could take care of me because you just CANNOT afford to lose me can you!?" I was in tears now. "You would rather me be miserable yet taken care of, instead of happy, loved, and taking care of myself! You're not looking for a mate for me you're looking for another father so you don't have to take care of me once I turn eighteen!"

"Princess, that's not true. I just want you to be happy..." my father began. Nega was gone by this time but I didn't care. I just wanted my father to see sense. I knew I must've hurt my feelings when I told him he was a failure but he needed some tough love then and there.

"I've told you time and time again that I wouldn't be happy with Lucrum. I've met him and he threw me in the dungeon! He let his knight shoot me! He said he'd lock me away while he ruled the kingdom as king!" I argued.

"I don't want to lose you again, Princess."

"YOU'RE NOT GOING TO LOSE ME!"
Though at this point I wasn't sure if that was true; right now I wanted more than anything to be in Sonic's dimension...it had to be better than here.
"You can't guarantee that! Princess, Lucrum has a good side that you haven't seen yet. He-" my father began.

"I hate you," I told him coldly, and I squirmed out of his grip and climbed out of the small hole he was in and walked away as if nothing had happened. My father did not follow. I left the forest, fuming and upset at the same time. I wanted to fall off a cliff and just die right now. I came to a grassy field and fell to my knees and cried, for real, a full on sob. I heard the pitter patter of feet in the grass as someone approached me. Whoever it was I didn't care. If it was Lucrum or Eggman Nega, I wanted for them to just kill me already.
"Blazey! There you are! I thought Nega snatched you! Are you alright?" it was Sonic, and the concern in his voice upset me more.

"You shouldn't have ever came here. Look at what you did! All this is cause of you! If you'd never came I would still be okay with my father! I would still have my pyrokinesis! I would be okay!" I bawled. My emotions were going crazy right now and were consuming my logic.
"Heyyy, stop that. Don't cry princess," Sonic knelt beside me and put an arm around me, and repeated this in a soft whisper, right in my ear.

"I have to marry Lucrum anyway! You shouldn't have come! Why do you care about me!? You just want to be with me because you want to take care of me! WHY DOES EVERYBODY WANT TO TAKE CARE OF ME! I CAN TAKE CARE OF MYSELF!" I bawled. I tried to focus my internal flame but remembered then I couldn't do pyrokinesis, which frustrated me even more as I seized the ring on my finger and yanked it and yanked it, yelling in frustration. But it wouldn't budge.
"Blazey! Blaze, stop!" Sonic grabbed my hands and pried them off my ring. But I slapped him upside the head. Sonic recoiled but he went back to wrap his arms around me.

"Why!? Why are you sticking around to comfort me!? I am an emotional wreck right now!" I spat.

"Because, Blaze...I love you," Sonic told me softly. There was the three letter word again. I started to calm down slightly. "Blaze...take a deep breath. Okay? Listen to me." Sonic's voice was so soft it was almost like listening to a lullaby. "Blaze, remember what you told me? You said, and I quote,'I'm hurt. But this physical pain I feel, it'll heal. Unlike my emotional pain if I spend the rest of my life as Lucrum's wife.' Blaze, if it weren't for me, you'd be with Lucrum, remember? And Blaze, I am not here to take care of you. I know you can take care of yourself. I mean, you went after Nega by yourself, didn't you? While I was at Marine's? I was worried about you, yeah, but I knew you could take care of yourself. I was worried about you because you couldn't do pyrokinesis. Again, I am not staying with you to take care of you. I am staying to love you. Because I love you. Blaze, I don't want to leave this dimension without you. Looks like I don't have much of a choice, eh heh...cause Eggman went into the rift separating our dimensions...and he kinda had all seven Chaos Emeralds! So I'm kinda stuck...Blaze, I love you. I am not going to let you marry Losercrum. You understand?" Sonic asked me, grabbing my chin and making sure I looked into his eyes. I nodded but I still was feeling like an emotional wreck. "We can make this alright, Blaze. Do you love me?" Sonic whispered, and I nodded slowly again. "Blaze, I have an idea. I have a very smart buddy at home who might know how to take off the ring," Sonic told me.

"But...it's enchanted..." I began. I looked at the floor, but Sonic forced my head up again to look at him.

"Blaze, things will be okay. We'll figure this out, I promise. Like the lines of my favorite song say, 'don't stop for a second let the weather change, the sun's shining right behind the hurricane. Now that we're spinning in the storm. Together, not alone," Sonic assured me, and then he pressed his lips on mine, and once again I got lost in the tingly, loving sensation of his sweet lips. I was beginning to feel better, especially after Sonic wrapped his arms around me. I felt comforted being in his arms and feeling his sweet lips on mine. I let his lips caress mine and I wrapped my arms around him. The grass at our feet seemed to be waving us on.

"OI! What're you doing with my bride!?" screamed a familiar voice. Sonic and I pulled apart and saw Lucrum standing there in the opening of the trees, holding a bow, with knights at his side.

"Ya know, I am really starting to get tired of your appearance," Sonic grumbled, taking a step closer to Lucrum.

"Does it look like I care? Blaze is going to be my wife soon. The wedding is today. AND NOTHING IS GOING TO STOP ME FROM LETTING THAT HAPPEN! NOT EVEN A LUDICROUS BLUE RAT LIKE YOU!" Lucrum barked, arming the bow with an arrow and stretching out the bowstring, aiming the arrow right at Sonic's heart.

"We've got bigger problems on our book, pal. We've got two evil villains that want to take over this dimension and seal it off, and I'll end up being stuck here!" Sonic hissed.

"I'll make sure that won't happen. I'll be king today. I'll order my knights to seek out these villains and pulverize them!" Lucrum barked. The arrow departed the bow and I thought for a horrible second Sonic was shot, but he was quicker than that; he managed to dodge the arrow.

"Blaze isn't going to marry you. I'll see to it that that doesn't happen!" Sonic hissed. Lucrum growled as he started to arm the bow again, but suddenly the sky darkened. We all looked up and saw that the sky had this peculiar green tint to it.

"Sonic! Your Eggman! He'll seal off this dimension! You'll be stuck here!" I cried.

"Yeah. With you," Sonic reminded me with a loving smile. Lucrum lowered his bow and suddenly we heard a huge boom was heard close by, and a huge laser shot from the ground up to the green sky. The laser looked to be horrifically close to where the hole was that my dad was probably still lying in, blubbering. More explosions filled the air around us, followed by the lasers, until there were five lasers in all, all within at least twenty miles apart from each other. Lucrum panicked and backed up, and waved back at his knights, and they all started running away. "COWARDS!" Sonic hissed. Just as I took off running towards where my father was. When I got there he was still in the hole, but I could tell he was injured.
"Daddy...?" I wept, grabbing his head, which had a nasty bloody gash near his temple.

"Princess...? I'm...a...dead beat dad...I am...so....soooo...sorry. I...wanted you to be...happy..." my father choked.

"No...dad...I'M sorry...for snapping. I don't hate you! I'm sorry!" I moaned.

"I'll be...fine. You know what to do, princess?"
I knew what he was talking about then.
"Daddy...I love you..." I wept.

"I know, baby. I love you too," my father moaned, closing his eyes and leaning his head back. And that's where he fell unconscious. Sonic ran to me and his eyes widened at this.

"Is he okay!?" Sonic cried.

"Sonic...what are you going to do!?" I cried.

"I tried contacting my buddy Tails...but Eggman must have knocked him out or something...he's not responding! Eggman has the Chaos Emeralds! He's high up in the sky. I can't fly, can you?" Sonic asked. It was almost hard to hear him over the big laser that was shooting up to the sky nearby.

"Yeah. Yeah I can," I said, thinking about what my father was talking about. Sonic looked at me with confusion.
"You can?" he asked.

"Yeah," I leered, and I pulled out my Sol Emeralds. If I couldn't use my pyrokinesis, I could at least use this. I let the Sol Emeralds surround me and Sonic was watching me, his mouth an "O". The Sol Emeralds started to spin around me as I felt the huge intense energy from the Sol Emeralds absorbing into my body. The absorption was so intense I almost collapse but I needed to focus. I wasn't used to this because it has been a very long time since I've done this. My body started to glow and I heard Sonic calling my name in a panicked voice, but it was muffled as the energy from my Sol Emeralds seeped into my body and fed my internal flame, and I could feel my body starting to heat up rapidly as if I was descending quickly into the mouth of a volcano. Then the Sol Emeralds fused into my body and my fur changed into hot pink in response, and then I was Burning Blaze. Sonic's eyes widened when he saw my final form.
"Blaze..." was all he could gasp.

"I'm going up there," I informed him, bending my knees and preparing to blast up towards the green sky.

"Wait, Blaze-!" Sonic began, and I turned to him quickly. Sonic grabbed my body and pulled me into another kiss, to which he pulled away a second later, flinching. "You're hot...literally!" he chuckled.

"I love you Sonic," I told him, kissing his soft lips quickly.

"I love you too Blaze," he responded. And I took off flying toward the sky. I loved the feeling of the air rushing past me as I flew. I decided  to examine the sky to where one of the lasers was shooting. I plunged up into the laser and wasn't harmed by it. Turns out the laser was actually the entrance into the rift Eggman was talking about. I plunged into the rift and where I ended up next was a strange oblivion that was hard to explain. Everything was a mixture of colors I wasn't even sure I could name. It was hard to explain everything. The temperature was something I never felt before. I heard a lot of weird sounds that reminded me of static. It was almost like I was nowhere.

"AH! YOU!" screamed a voice, and I saw Eggman in there firing at the strange unknown colors, which his laser cannon appeared to not be hitting it; it was hard to tell if the mass of colors was solid, liquid, or gas. But Eggman must have known what he was doing cause I sure didn't.

"Stop what you're doing!" I hissed.

"Why!? I just barely got started! Why would I stop something I had planned on for a couple days now?" Eggman leered. I plummeted into him.

"OWW!" Eggman wept, and he quit firing at the weird colors. "THIS! THIS STUFF!" Eggman roared, pointing at the weird colors. "Is the fortification separating you and my dimension. If this gets destroyed, you will be stuck on whatever side of the fortification you are on!" Eggman explained. "You don't belong here; this area is very sensitive to blows! Anything you do to the masses around can cause lots of instability in both of our dimensions!"
Was he warning me? I couldn't tell, because what he said wasn't making much sense. I just slammed right into him again. "Are you listening to me!?" Eggman barked. He turned on his laser again and started firing at the barrier again. Then he pulled a lever and the hover machine he was in started to grow legs, arms, and a shield. "This is my Egg Demolisher!" Eggman leered. I started after him again but the arms of the Egg Demolisher slammed into my body, knocking me down, causing me to run into a strange mass that, like the barrier, I couldn't tell what kind of state it was in. Everything around us started to tremble fiercely. "YOU IDIOT! WHAT DID I JUST SAY EARLIER!?" Eggman roared once the tremors ceased.

"It's your fault!" I snapped, and I threw a fire ball at him. It was nice to use pyrokinesis again; even though I couldn't do it in my normal state. I slammed into him again and the Egg Demolisher tumbled a bit but the laser kept firing. I noticed the colored walls was starting to blacken at the areas he was firing, as if being burned. "STOP! NO!" I roared, and I hurled myself at him as hard as I could and the Egg Demolisher fell over on its side, but the laser kept shooting and ended up shooting a different location of colored walls. It was a weaker wall; I watched as a big ball of the color fell away and disappeared into blackness; leaving a big gaping hole.

"That's what happens if you're not careful! I just destroyed a different dimension by shooting at the wrong place as well as the barrier separating your dimension from it! Granted it was a weak dimensional attachment, but still..." Eggman began.

"What the HELL are you talking about!?" I barked as the Egg Demolisher got up.

"All these colored walls surrounding us are different links to your dimension! And this one is separating yours from mine!" Eggman pointed at the area he was previously shooting, which had black holes in it.

"NO! NO! NO! STOP!" I sobbed, and I hurtled straight towards the laser and turned my whole body into fire and started burning the laser.
"HEY! STOP YOU STUPID CAT!" Eggman bawled, pushing a button, and missiles were shooting me but were being fried by the five million degree fire engulfing my body. "NO! NO! NO! NO! NOOOOOOOO!" Eggman cried as he kept trying to shoot at me but I was just too hot for any missiles or cannons. Finally the laser cannon exploded and the Egg Demolisher collapsed. Eggman detached his regular floating machine from it and left behind the outer shell of the Egg Demolisher, which contained the legs, arms, and the charred laser cannon. "You may have destroyed my laser cannon, but the rift separating our dimension is ripped now; the rips will just get bigger!" Eggman sneered. I growled angrily as I slammed into Eggman one more time, and I saw seven diamond cut Emeralds tumble out of his wake. Those must have been the Chaos Emeralds. Eggman did not seem to need them anymore as he flew right through one of the colored walls. I wanted to follow him but I also needed to give these Chaos Emeralds to Sonic. Question was...how do I get back to my dimension? All that was around me was strange colored walls, some with rips in them, and one big black gaping hole that lead nowhere now that Eggman had destroyed a complete dimension.

With Sonic:

TAILS!? TAILS!? CAN YOU HEAR ME TAAAAAAAILS!? Sonic tried and tried again to get ahold of his fox friend but no response. Had Eggman hurt him....? Or even worse....? Sonic was also hoping Blaze would be okay, because every so often this dimension had shaken a bit since she left. He wondered what was going on up there. In the meantime, he decided to find somebody who could probably take care of the ring on her finger. He searched through Highland Village, where the villagers were taking shelter in their homes and buildings as some parts of the ground started giving away. Sonic had no idea where to go or who to look for, so he had no choice but to go to Highland Castle. The knights guarding the door raised their arrows at him. "SAVE IT!" Sonic spat, using his Homing Attack on both of them and causing them to collapse. Sonic stormed into the castle and saw that despite what was going on, they were already preparing for the wedding. There were rows of chairs lined up in the lobby as well as a red carpet in the middle of it all. Everything was lined with flowers and decorations. Sonic saw Lucrum dressed in a tux that looked awfully tacky, in Sonic's opinion. He stormed to Lucrum and seized him by the collar of his tux.

"I thought you were sick of me. Yet, you came back. Are you in love with me? Be honest!" Lucrum leered.

"WHERE DOES BLAZE GO TO TAKE OFF HER RING!?" Sonic hissed.

"Why would I tell you!? She's marrying me in a couple hours; destroyed dimension rift or not, she has been ordered to marry me, and today is the day I want her to marry me!" Lucrum cried.

"I have about HAD it with you!" Sonic seethed, and he threw a very fierce punch at Lucrum's face, giving him a nasty, thick black eye and a gushing bloody nose. But Sonic was not stopping there. He threw Lucrum against the wall, still holding him by the collar. "Tell me where I can get Blaze's ring taken off, otherwise this scheduled wedding will turned into a scheduled funeral!" Sonic threatened. Lucrum, being that he had no swords on him at the moment, spat into Sonic's face. Sonic winced and dropped Lucrum, who took off running, but was then stopped short at a sudden sight. Sonic looked over to what he was looking at and saw that the marble floor was...cracking.

"THIS DIMENSION IS COLLAPSING!" Lucrum roared, and Sonic was satisfied to hear fear in his voice. Lucrum flung himself around Sonic in a panic.

"AGH! Get off me! Stop ruffling the fur!" Sonic barked, pushing Lucrum off.

"YOU KNOW WHAT!? You can HAVE Blaze! Ever since I met her, weird things have been happening! It's her pyrokinesis! She's letting it take control of her! She's a mad woman!" Lucrum bawled.

"Are you really that thick? You disabled her pyrokinesis, moron. Remember?" Sonic asked him.

"HER SOL EMERALDS THEN! HER SOL EMERALDS! THEY ARE CAUSING ALL THIS! I DON'T WANT TO MARRY A MADWOMAN! YOU CAN HAVE HER!" Lucrum screamed, and he tore of his tuxedo and ignored the fact that this caused him to expose everything but his pinstripe boxer shorts as he ran up the stairs, which were starting to crack too. The marble floor was giving away in the cracks, and knights and servants started running away as the abysses in the ground started swallowing the wedding chairs and the red carpet as if it were a hungry monster. Sonic scowled and ran up the stairs after the half naked prince and flung himself on top of Lucrum, pinning him down. "AGH! GET OFF!" Lucrum bawled.

"NOT UNTIL YOU TELL ME HOW TO GET RID OF BLAZE'S RING! I'LL GLADLY GO DOWN AN ABYSS FOR HER!" Sonic barked.

"FINE! FINE! Go to a wizard named Veneficus; he should be able to take care of it for you!" Lucrum bawled.

"Where is he!?" Sonic barked.

"About five miles north; in a hut deep in the fo-horest!" Lucrum started to bawl at this last word, because he was scared for his life. Sonic jumped off of him and fled at top speed down the steps, just as the abyss caught up with Lucrum on the stairs and swallowed him.

Right as Sonic ran outside of Highland Castle, it collapsed in on itself because of the lack of ground support. He saw Blaze fly to him in that beautiful hot pink form again. If only it wasn't the same color as Amy. But that didn't change how stunning she looked in the form. She threw him the Chaos Emeralds. "There you go!" she cried.

"Is everything okay!? ARE YOU OKAY!?" Sonic cried, catching the Chaos Emeralds and grabbing her body.

"The rift separating our dimensions...it's been severed. It needs to be repaired," Blaze told him quickly.

"I can't waste no more time then," Sonic informed Blaze.

"You?!" Blaze cried.

"Blaze, I want you to travel five miles north into the forest; you'll find a wizard named Veneficus. He'll be able to get the ring off you!" Sonic instructed quickly.

"What about Lucrum?" Blaze asked him.

"Lucrum's dead."

"Then the ring can wait; I want to help you seal back the rift. It'll be better with us both."

Sonic looked into the beautiful sunshine eyes he fell in love with and couldn't find any counterargument to this; not that he wanted to. It was a good idea. "Alright," he said, casting her a loving smile. He threw out the Chaos Emeralds and let them surround him. He started to absorb their energy, and in a flash of golden light, he was Super Sonic. Blaze didn't look surprised, though; he had a feeling that she knew he had a Super form just like her, since the Chaos and Sol Emeralds were so much alike. "C'mon, Blazey baby," Sonic told her, and she flushed at the name he called her. Then she took off with him behind, and they flew into a laser, headed for the rift.

"Sheesh, this looks like a nightmare I had once," Sonic remarked, looking all around at the weird colors.

"This is it...the barrier separating our dimensions..." Blaze began, pointing at a piece of colored wall that looked like it had been burned away at some places.

"Damn...did Eggman do that?" Sonic asked in awe, looking at the holes.

"Yeah, and they'll only get bigger."

"Where'd the Eggbutt go?"

"He disappeared."

"Damn. Alright, well, how do you suppose we fix the tears? TAILS!?"

"Who?"

"I'm trying to get ahold of my fox buddy." TAILS!? TAAAAAAAAAILS!?TAILS!?

"Ahhahhh...uhhhh...." groaned a voice in Sonic's head.

TAILS! Sonic thought happily.

"Sonic? SONIC! Are you okay!? Is Eggman there!? He just came in and beat me and then jumped right in the machine!" Tails cried.

He left, but he caused some tears in the dimension separating ours from Blaze's. Sonic responded.

"AH!" Tails cried.

Yeah. Any ideas on how I could repair it pal? Sonic asked him.

"Hmmm...well, Sonic, to be honest, you're not even showing up on my radar...which means you're not in either dimensions..." Tails began.

I know! Cause I'm IN BETWEEN them. Sonic told him.

"Oh, sorry. Well...here, let me figure this out!" Tails started typing on a computer and Sonic could hear the click-clack of the keyboard in his head, followed by a beep. "AH! The material of the barrier is composed of a complex form of atoms and elements. I think if you and Blaze worked together, you can combine the energies from both sets of Emeralds and therefore repair the barrier."

It's that easy? Well, cool, thanks bro! Sonic smiled happily.

"Sonic? What are you doing? You're making weird faces at me!" Blaze cried, looking at Sonic with concern.

"Ah, sorry, I'm communicating with my buddy inside my head," Sonic replied, chuckling a bit.

"Is...is that a thing in your dimension?" Blaze asked.

"Nah! I don't have time to explain, we need to fix this."

"How?"

"Energy from both of our Emeralds. C'mon sweetheart."

Blaze smiled at Sonic and grabbed his hand. Together they focused their inner energy and stared directly at the tears in the rift. They squeezed each other's hands tightly and tensed up. And suddenly a light appeared where their hands were connected, a light that was almost an orange color because it was a mixture of Blaze's hot pink energy and Sonic's golden yellow energy. And then a power beam of energy shot from where their hands were connected and hit the rift, and the couple were relieved to see the holes in the barrier starting to close up. And when the barrier was back to normal again, the two relaxed and the combined energy dissipated.

With Blaze:

I suddenly felt lightheaded after that, and I felt the Sol Emerald energy inside me starting to fade, and then in a flash I was back to normal and I collapsed. But I felt Sonic's strong arms grab me and carry me. "I got you honey," I heard Sonic's voice soothe me, and that was the last thing I heard before I went unconscious.

When I woke up I was laying in the same grassy field where I kissed Sonic earlier. Sonic was right above me with a worried look. I saw my father standing behind him with one hand on Marine's shoulder. "She's awake!" Sonic told my father and Marine, and smiles broke their faces. "Blazey...you're okay," Sonic whispered to me with relief, nuzzling me.

"What about Eggman Nega?" I asked quickly.

"He doesn't have your Sol Emeralds does he?" Sonic whispered.

"N-No..." I began.

"Then don't worry baby girl," Sonic's voice was right in my ear before he kissed it. Wait...my father was letting him do this? I wonder what kind of dispute they got in while I was unconscious.

"Everything...okay?" I whispered.

"Yeah. This dimension stopped collapsing, my Eggman's back where he belongs; in my dimension. And your Eggman...well, I dunno where he's at EXACTLY but I know he's pretty far from here. I made sure of it," Sonic leered.

"My ring?" I asked, and I looked at my hand and saw it was still there.

"I decided to wait for you to wake up before I took you with me to go take it off," Sonic assured me. I looked at my father, who had bandages on his chin. He smiled merely at me.

"Father...you okay with this...?" I asked him, pointing at Sonic.

"You're happy with him. That's all that matters," my father responded. That was the best thing I've ever heard my father say ever.

"Thank you fath...Dad," I told him softly, and I could see that by calling him Dad instead of Father, I made his whole day right there.

"Alriiiiiiiiiight! Let's get going!" Sonic cried patiently, helping me up.

"Where ye goin' again, mates?" Marine asked curiously.

"Get this ridiculous ring off my angel's beautiful finger," Sonic responded.

"What'll happen after that?" I asked him, grabbing his hand.

"Well, as much as I hate to say it, I can't stay...Tails' machine is overheating again," Sonic sighed.

"I wish...I could go with," I sighed sadly.

"Eh heh! I think your dimension has dealt with enough for one day, princess!" Sonic chuckled. I looked around and noticed all the lasers connecting the sky to the ground were gone. The sky was its normal light blue again. Apart from the holes and cracks on the ground (which thankfully stopped spreading) and some structural damage, my dimension was back to normal.

"Ah, I think I can take Blaze's Sol Emeralds for awhile," my dad cut in. I looked at him in surprise. He always told me the Sol Emeralds were only for ME to guard, and nobody else. Now he was offering to take up them in guarding.

"But...you haven't guarded them in twenty years...is that a good idea?" I asked him with worry.

"It's fine, princess. I want you to be happy," Dad told me gently. I smiled at him merely.

"C'MON PRINCESS!" Sonic cried excitedly, and he seized my body and threw me on his back. I was surprised by this sudden movement but felt comfortable sitting on his back. And he took off, and I waved goodbye to Dad and Marine. As we passed the pile of rocks that used to be Highland Castle, Sonic called, "GOODBYE LOSERCRUM!" and we both laughed heartily at this as Sonic picked up speed and we left Kingdom Highland.

Veneficus lived in a dilapidated shack covered in ivy. Sonic kicked down the door. "That's awfully rude!" I told him cheekily.

"Well, he shouldn't have helped out a douchebag like Lucrum," Sonic told me defensively. Veneficus was an old wrinkly turtle wizard.

"I SAW YOU COMING!" Veneficus cried, pointing at us, his voice hoarse and choked.

"Spare the creepy details. We want to get this ridiculous ring off my beautiful princess," Sonic cut in, grabbing my right hand and holding out my fingers to Veneficus. Veneficus looked closely at the ring on my hand.

"Ahh, the very ring I enchanted yesterday," Veneficus mumbled.

"Yes, and it's the very ring you'll disenchant today," Sonic leered. Veneficus looked at Sonic questioningly then grabbed the ring on my hand and whispered a weird incantation in Latin and I felt the ring becoming looser. Then Veneficus pulled it right off. "So...is that it? You're not going to ask us for our souls or anything?" Sonic asked him.

"Good day to you," Veneficus grumbled, turning his back on us to expose a cracked, scarred shell.

"Are you a good wizard? Or a bad wizard? Or somewhere in between?" Sonic pried.

"Good day to you," Veneficus repeated. Sonic shrugged and grabbed my arm.

We left Veneficus' hut at this. "He was weird. Oh well. As long as that ridiculous ring is off you I'm alright," Sonic said happily.

"So...are you...leaving now?" I asked him somewhat sadly.

"Yeah, but you're coming with me, remember?" Sonic reassured me happily.

"Oh! Oh yeah!" I cried, and Sonic chuckled lightly at this.

"You're so cute!" he told me.

After handing the Sol Emeralds to my father (whom I had to assure that I'll be back by the end of the week), Sonic and I walked hand-in-hand towards the forest. "Well, princess, ready to see my dimension?" Sonic asked me softly and lovingly.

"Yeah," I replied happily.

"Just a warning...we might run into a little trouble...by the name of Amy Rose," Sonic warned me teasingly but lovingly.

"It's fine," I told him as I snapped my fingers and a little flame appeared. I was glad to do my pyrokinesis again.

"One more thing before we go..." Sonic began, and he grabbed me and stopped me from walking. And I looked at him. Then he pulled me closer to him and wrapped his arms around me and pressed his lips on mine. And once again I was sent into a peaceful happy bliss as I closed my eyes and tasted his sweet, soft, tender lips. I put my arms around him and he caressed my back. I tilted my head to get a better angle of his delectable lips, then I felt something break his lips and meet mine; it was his tongue. I opened my mouth slightly and let his tongue in and as soon as his soft, moist tongue met mine my heart shot out of my chest as his tongue softly slid across mine and I could feel our sweet saliva mixing together into a potion of passion. Suddenly I felt a jerking sensation, causing me to let go of Sonic. "Wuh-oah! Heh heh, Tails is getting impatient. C'mon," Sonic assured me softly, and he held me tightly against him. I could hear his heart beating against my right ear. And as Tails sent us back to Sonic's dimension, Sonic was still holding onto me for dear life, and I felt comfortable and at peace to be in his soft strong arms.

"I love you, Sonic," I told him as everything spun around us as we traveled.

"I love you, too, Blaze," Sonic responded softly.

And that's when I knew that I truly loved him. I could be at peace again, I could be happy again, for the first time since my mother died. And he was all I needed.

The End
:D I need to get off here; I'm stiff and sore from sitting and typing for a long time.

Sonic and CO belong to SEGA

Again, except Lucrum (well, he's dead now, so yeah)

NOTE: I DO NOT LIKE SONIC ANYMORE! SO KEEP THIS IN MIND BEFORE YOU WATCH ME OR REPLY TO A COMMENT I MADE PRIOR TO 2016!

Normally, I would post my thoughts/comments in a chapter or so, but since this story is already completed, I figured I just say it all in one go right here. =)

This story is AMAZING! I'm not kidding! I really love this story! When the story started, it was like your version on how Sonic and Blaze met unlike the Sonic Rush titles, adding some nice originality in this. :aww: The best thing about this story is Sonic and Blaze's building relationship. When they were first introduced, Blaze wasn't fond at Sonic at all from the start despite that Sonic, who just met her, actually was willing to help her with the princess's problems. And as the story goes on towards to the end, Sonic begins to grow more and more attach to Blaze as well as going lengths to protecting her no matter what while Blaze starts to slowly trust him and open up to him...as well as realizing he cares deeply for her and falls in love with him too towards the end. =)

Then there's the plot. There was a lot of tension going on with Blaze's father, Eggman Nega and of course Lucrum that's really annoying Blaze sadly. I love the father and...errr...daughter relationship with the two, as always the parent(s) usually never listen to their kid(s) but in this case while it's mostly true, he was only doing it to have Blaze be as happy as possible and while his method wasn't the best for her, I'm glad that he actually realized that Blaze never wanted the marriage with Lucrum as well as accepting that his daughter was in love with Sonic. =)  Then there's Eggman Nega...who's always a dick no matter what story he's in so I won't count him but regardless you've done him perfect as he would be in a Sonic game. And finally there's Lucrum...my gosh is he such an ***. :XD:

Overall, this was a really awesome story. I was obviously still waiting for the next chapter of your Miniscule Sonaze story, but I felt like reading your other stories so I started out with this one...and this one EASILY takes the cake of being one of my favorite Sonaze stories I've ever read. Awesome job and I cannot wait to read your other Sonaze stories as well as eventually the next chapter of your Miniscule series. :aww:  :star:
